Bridging the Gap

Trollbloods' Calandra Truthsayer, Oracle of the Glimmerwood versus Khador's Vladimir Tzepesci, Dark Champion of Umbrey
35PC Outflank, Outfight, Outlast

The old Brownglade riverbed has gone dry after weeks of being dammed up by Skorne forces led by Tyrant Xerxis.  Trollbloods of the Havenstone Kriel implored for a solution to their predicament, and the great Oracle, Calandra, immediately offered her aid.

With Havenstone's best Fennblades and Burrowers alongside the warlock's warbeasts, Calandra headed east only to encounter a Khadoran war host led by the Dark Champion, Vladimir Tzepesci.

Battle lines were immediately drawn and both forces clashed on the dusty riverbed for control of a now-crucial location.

Trollkin Fennblades tied up the Iron Fang Uhlans on the east-side embankment while Pyg Burrowers tunneled up and primed their weapons for a charge

SJ's nifty Burrower template, so it will be easier to determine where they will emerge from the marker

Trollbloods hold their ground as Khadoran forces attempted to outmaneuver them.

A Dire Troll Bomber (yeah that's supposed to be a Bomber) eyed Eiryss suspiciously on top of a muddy crest

Drago and Doom Reavers solidified the Khadoran left flank

Burrowers prepared to charge the abominable Doom Reavers

SJ Quema, always a masterful opponent to play against

Chaos in the Trollblood lines as Burrowers failed their Command check against the Abomination caused by the Doom Reavers

Calandra's Star-crossed foiled the casterkill run by this Man-O-War Drakhun!

After shoving around the dismounted Man-O-War Drakhun with Befuddle, the Dire Troll Bomber failed to deal enough damage to bring down the Khadoran horse lord.  With Hand of Fate, the Man-O-War Drakhun advanced and shot off a Shield Cannon shell, which downed the Oracle of Glimmerwood!

PG shink1m says: Another epic battle between my red army and SJ's Trollbloods.  I was unable to get to his warbeasts on my feat run - the Bomber was on top of a high bridge, while the Impaler was too far back.  The luck of the game swung more to my favor on the early part of the game when SJ's Burrowers failed their Command check when they charged the Doom Reavers with Abomination.  But the Bomber that went Donkey Kong while on top of that 2-inch high bridge made me overextend just to get his Impaler (so it none of his force will get that extra range animus).  Looking back, a smarter move on my part would have been giving Assail to Drago and have him bash up against the Bomber on the bridge.  On the later part of the game, if the Bomber managed to kill my MOW Drakhun, it would have been game over for me, as it would have just sat there and flung bombs all day.  Upkeeping Hand of Fate on that dismounted Drakhun and SJ failing his Tough roll made the game for me.  A classic match up!
